HOLIDAYS ARE OVER: NOW BACK-TO-BACK ASSEN-SACHSENRING

After a three-weeks break, the Team QJMOTOR GRESINI Moto2 is ready to be back on track for a double round: we start from the TT Circuit of Assen, defined by many as the university of the two wheels due to its complexity. We will then move immediately to Germany, at the Sachsenring circuit, which, with its 3,671 km length, is the shortest of those where the world championship takes place.

We find Manuel Gonzalez full of confidence after a solid first part of the season, constantly in the top positions, ready to continue his growth and collect important points for the championship where he is now in fifth position. A great desire for redemption for Albert Arenas: the Spaniard, after a subdued weekend at Mugello, is ready to return in the positions that count, after three weeks of training focused on the two wheels. His goal is to be consistently in the top positions, already in the free practices and try to start from the front rows in this back-to-back.

MANUEL GONZALEZ #18

“After a three-weeks break, where I trained hard every day, we arrive at Assen, the circuit where I raced my first race in the Moto2 world championship, and then we’ll go at Sachsenring: two tracks that I really like and where I had some good races. I can’t wait to get back on my bike and continue the work we are doing with the team: we are very strong and the goal is to continue improving, so we can constantly fight for the podium and why not, for the victory.”

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“During this break I trained a lot on motorbikes: motocross, flat track and with the 600cc. I also went riding with Alex and Marc Marquez to do an even more intense training. I’ve picked up the pace and I’m excited for Assen and Sachsenring, two circuits that I really like, where I’ve always achieved good results. I like it when there is a back-to-back because it allows me to give continuity to the work, starting from all the data collected in this first part of the season. I return from these three weeks recharged and ready for these two rounds: I want to fight for the podium and always be in the top6 in all the practice sessions!”
