IN AUSTRIA FOR A GREAT COMEBACK

After a first part of the season that put Matteo Ferrari in difficulty, we found him in the back to back Assen-Sachsenring more determined and close to the positions that count, but this is not enough for him, the Italian wants to make the difference in Austria and return to be a top rider. There are two rounds left, for a total of four races to the end of the season, and Ferrari’s goal is to win all four of them to recover as many positions as possible in the championship standings, where he is now eighth at -77 points from the leader.

Alessio Finello is also full of expectations: the number #72 trained hard during the break and is ready to take back his rewards in this double Austrian round. Now that he got used to the TOP10, he wants to aim for something more and can’t wait to try to in these two races on Saturday, respectively at 12:15 and 16:10.

MATTEO FERRARI #11

“Ready to start again, two rounds left, 4 races. During the summer break in June we recharged our batteries and tried to reset, and the results were visible both in Assen and at the Sachsenring. We’re trying to continue on this path: we have understood what we need and we have a good base to start with. Now it is essential to stay focused because this is a more difficult season than the past ones. It will not be easy, because the riders in front of us are racing for the championship win: we will try to bring home as many points as possible and recover places in the general standings. We’re off to Austria to win, and we will try to win all four, then we will see how it goes”.

ALESSIO FINELO #72

“On paper this summer break has been quite long, but with constant training it has flown by for me! I am super happy to get back on track and pick up the work where we left off. The time has come for me to take the final step and go faster: I have trained really hard despite the very high temperatures and I am ready for these last two rounds. I am excited and I can’t wait!”
