LET’S THE SECOND PART OF THE SEASON BEGINS: ASSEN AND THEN SACHSENRING
After a short summer break it’s time to get back on the electric Ducati for the second part of the MotoE championship. Four rounds remaining for a total of eight races: first of all Assen, where Matteo Ferrari achieved a double victory last year. His desire to repeat this result after a difficult start to the season is huge. The rider number #11 is ready to redeem himself and return to fight for the podium, in Assen and why not also in Sachsenring.
Next to him we find an Alessio Finello full of expectations: after a Mugello where he raised the bar, the Turin rider trained hard during this break, to ensure that the confidence gained at Mugello is transformed into a further growth in this double round Assen-Sachsenring, where half of the remaining points to finish the championship will be played.

“Super ready for these two rounds: this break helped me to disconnect a bit. We talked a lot with the team to find the right strategy to restart in the best way. Two tracks that I really like and where we went really fast last year: that will be one more reason to start again with the right energy. There are 200 points left to play for, we will try to bring home as many as possible and get back to savoring the podium and the victory that we have been missing for a while. This is our goal for these 4 races in Assen and Sachsenring: we are ready and excited.”

“Summer break is over: it has been good for me, I trained a lot and I’m fit. I have high expectations for Assen, at Mugello we took a step forward and here I want to make one more: it’s a track that I like, especially the layout. We will try to be fast from the first practice session and from there, improve: above all, I want to prove myself in the race. Then we’ll go to Germany, where last year I really struggled a lot. This year I have more experience and a different self-confidence: I’m doing an important work on myself that will allow me to be competitive here too. I’m sure we’ll work well and be able to have two good rounds.”
