OFF TO FRANCE: THE FIFTH ROUND IS IN LE MANS
After an excellent Spanish weekend, which saw Arenas in the TOP5 and Gonzalez on the podium, the Team QJMOTOR GRESINI Moto2 is ready to repeat itself on French soil. The rider number #18 wasn’t particularly lucky on this track last year due to a crash on the second lap: this weekend he wants to redeem himself and he has everything it takes to do so. Gonzalez wants to make the podium a constant feature of every weekend and confirm himself among the top riders of this season.
Albert Arenas has already demonstrated he is very fast on the flying lap, conquering another front row in Jerez: now he wants to prove himself in the race too, be consistent in the long run and aim for the first podium of the season.
Moto2 will get on track for the first free practice session on Friday, at 09:50 a.m.
MANUEL GONZALEZ #18
“We arrive at Le Mans after a good third position in Jerez. We are doing a great job, improving more and more, finding in each race what we were missing in the previous one: in France too we will continue in the same way, fighting for the podium and why not, let’s hope for the victory too! Le Mans is a circuit where I have always been fast and I think our set-up will work well in this track. It will be essential to do a perfect job on Friday and Saturday, to be at our best and ready for anything in the race on Sunday.”
ALBERT ARENAS #75
“Le Mans, a wonderful circuit, where I have collected good memories: now I really want to create new ones. We have clear ideas, we know where to focus our work: I can’t wait to see my team again and get back on the bike. The weather is good at the moment, which is positive because it is nice to ride on this circuit with a good temperature. We aim to further improve the pace found in the last few races, now we just have to insist!”
