SILVERSTONE O’CLOCK

The summer break is over for the Team QJMOTOR GRESINI Moto2: it’s time for Silverstone, one of the most technical tracks on the world championship calendar, in its 5.8 km length. After two complicated rounds before the holidays, Manuel Gonzalez finds himself in sixth position in the general standings, with 77 points: this weekend he wants to redeem himself and make the difference on the circuit that last year saw him finish the race in the TOP5.

Albert Arenas is also looking forward to get back on his Moto2, fresh from an exciting week in Japan that saw him protagonist of the 8 Hour of Suzuka, concluded together with his teammates on the podium, in third position. An excellent training in view of the second part of the championship, where the Spaniard is ready to prove himself and reap the rewards of all the work done in the first part of the season.

MANUEL GONZALEZ #18

“We come back from the summer break with a huge desire to get back on the bike. After two difficult races before the break, where we had worked well but the result had not paid off, we did an “off/on” to start again from Silverstone, trying to do our best and reach our goal. We are getting closer, little by little: these three weeks I have relaxed, but I have also trained with a focus always on the next race: what can be improved in general and where I can improve on myself specifically. Silverstone is a circuit where I’ve always had good races and I think that here we could have one of the best races of the year”.

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“I’m really excited to get back on track, ready to start the championship again. I’m really motivated and confident that we can have a strong second part of the season: I want to reach my maximum level. Silverstone is a track that I really like, even tricky at times. I can’t wait to see the team again and get on my Moto2!”
